Shellyann SiddooAt the tender age of 24 while earning my degree and a having wonderful career my life was filled with optimism and hope for a bright future. On the afternoon of April 7, 2008 my life had an unexpected turn which leads to my face, neck, chest, arms and hands being severely burnt while at my workplace. My burns have since healed but my vision became impaired. I am dedicated and determined to restore HOPE in the lives of others that was once lost. My mission is to educate, motivate and inspire others to live a fulfilled life Now instead of living life I’m enjoying life. As each day passes by, I am even more grateful for my gift of life. The greatest lesson I have learnt throughout my journey is seeing God in all beings. Being blind for over two years has given me a new meaning to the word “life”. I live each day to the fullest and have a great appreciation for everything and everyone in my life. With my strong faith in God and my belief that incurable means curable from within I have faith that I will be able to see once again. As I evolve into all that I am meant to be, I am inspiring others to be the best that they can be.
